Facilities Maintenance Technician [#630] 1/17/2022 Return

Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is seeking two Facilities Maintenance Techs that are ready to take the next step! These entry-level positions are full-time, temp-to-hire, positions with room for advancement.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the existing maintenance team to perform a variety of maintenance-related tasks each day. Daily activities could include any of the following trades/skills: troubleshooting plumbing issues, HVAC routine maintenance, and filter replacement, drywall repair, interior/exterior painting, strip & wax floors, fleet vehicle preventative maintenance, fleet small engine maintenance or repair, general machine preventative maintenance, etc. Our clients desire a candidate with some experience in most of these tasks. These entry-level positions can lead to more training and increased responsibilities and compensation.

Requirements:
• Entry Level Experience in the following desired
• Carpentry and drywall repair
• Painting – interior/exterior
• HVAC service and preventative maintenance
• Plumbing service and maintenance
• Machine maintenance/repair
• Small engine maintenance
• Fleet Vehicle maintenance

Other requirements
• Must pass a fingerprint background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Must be seeking full-time employment
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Details:
1 of these positions is for a local school district with state PERSI benefits after a probationary period. The schedule is typical Mon-Fri 8-5 with some flexibility required for special events.

1 position is with a local, highly respected, manufacturing company. The schedule is somewhat flexible on shift start time with occasional Saturday requirements for special projects.

Both positions are temp-to-hire. Starting wage will be determined by interview and experience level. $15.00-$18.00/hr to start.
